A few months ago, I was on a plane with a group of people who had apparently all arrived in Dallas on the same flight from London. As we were getting to know each other, one of them pulled up a map on his phone, put his finger on the location of the airport, and said, “Actually, the airport is in Grand Prairie.”

As we became more acquainted, we all discovered that our plans were very similar, and we all had one thing in common: we were born in 1960.

It’s especially interesting in this case, because not only were the three of us born in the same year, but we all went to college at the same time, and we all ended up working in the same industry. Two of us are still in Dallas, and one of us is still in California.
